I started these collages when I felt photography becoming a very limited tool because of its representational association. The process became one of culling images from my families archive along with scanned images of historical and cultural happenings that became relevant to expand my visual vocabulary. The digital aspect of embedding and revelation starts to complicate a lot of my understanding about my position and place. The use of text, design and destroying visual information acts as a motif to continue and establish space and identity.
