Projects

These projects inform and enliven the methodologies and ethics of my cultural and spiritual practices. They are the lifeblood and wellspring by which I remain connected to and in conversation with the disparate ecologies that my curiosity draws and feeds from.

Tilting Axis is a sustained arts platform for, from, across, and through the Caribbean which I co-founded with Annalee Davis in 2014. It is a call to action to rethink the position and conditions of contemporary art practices in the region.  Its perspective, informed by artist-led initiatives within the archipelago, recognises this space as central rather than peripheral, and is fed by multi-generational voices.

Rise Up Bequia is a social activist group focusing on building and strengthening core ideas and practices of sustainable community development, education, agency and outreach. I initiated this platform with a group of like-minded citizens in 2013 after the devastating Christmas Day floods in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
